Sell qurban animals only at locations designated by the government

Jakarta KPKP Agency Head, Hasudungan Sidabalok stated, the qurban animals purchased must meet health criteria through a veterinary examination. This is to ensure that the animals sold are suitable for sacrifice according to religious law and health regulations.

"As a marker, we give a sticker to each sales point that has been inspected," he expressed, Wednesday (5/21).

For the traders, he emphasized that inspections by officials are free of charge. He also reminded the importance of maintaining the suitability of the sales location.

"For goats, each animal must be placed in a space of 1.5 meters per head and two meters per head for cattle. The area must be shaded, protected from direct rain and sunlight, and provided with sufficient feed and water," he expressed.

He added this appeal was issued to ensure the comfort, health of animals, and environmental order during the sacrificial season in Jakarta.

"Sell qurban animals only at locations designated by the government. Don't sell on sidewalks, parks, or other social and public facilities," he asserted.
